An association in Ankara, helpers in Germany, one goal
PUKKY runs its own shelter on the outskirts of Ankara where injured, sick and abandoned dogs are cared for. We vaccinate, neuter, treat and look for the right family for every dog.
Rescue and treat
Every dog is examined by a vet, vaccinated, chipped and neutered before being rehomed.
Rehome with care
Interview, home check, adoption contract and follow-up. We take the time so that it fits.
Responsible to the end
If it does not work out, we take the dog back. None of our dogs ends up in a shelter.

How adoption works
From the first enquiry to arrival in Germany usually takes four to eight weeks. We accompany you at every step.
Get to know each other
You find a dog that suits you and send an enquiry. We reply within two days.
Home check and contract
A volunteer near you visits, then we sign the adoption contract.
Journey and arrival
Your dog travels to Germany with a flight volunteer. You pick him up at the airport.

Not everyone can take in a dog. But everyone can contribute: with money, with time or with a free seat on a plane.
